For those who overdosed on football at this Summers World Cup, and have since lapsed from the beautiful game its time to wake up and smell the pre-season!

But the one to keep an eye on this year has to be Manchester United going head-to-head with the MLS All-Star team in the headline event of their Pre-Season tour of the US.

The All-Star team is chosen from the top performers of the MLS by Bruce Arena, and historically will take on a top team from Europe (last season it was Everton) as a show-piece for the best of the best in the MLS.
As adidas have a heavy hand in the MLS, and use this event to showcase the latest team-wear templates and, of course, the Jabulani ball for the coming season.
